HRC Fuses & Kitkat Fuses
HRC (High Rupturing Capacity) fuses and Kit Kat fuses are both types of fuses used in electrical systems to protect circuits from overcurrent. However, they differ in design, application, and performance. HRC fuses are a type of fuse that can safely interrupt high fault currents without causing damage to the surrounding system. They are designed to handle severe short circuits. Kit Kat fuses are a type of rewireable fuse commonly used in older or less critical applications. They are named for their resemblance to the Kit Kat chocolate bar due to their rectangular shape. They are used in high-power industrial applications where high fault currents may occur.
